Repairs

All Local repairs must be picked up by the musician that plays the instrument. No under 18 students are allowed to pickup or drop off instruments without their parents.  Instrument drop offs by family members is fully acceptable. We need the player to play test the instrument during pickup to allow us to do any quick adjustments that is requested by the customer.

Brass - Trumpets, Trombones, French Horns, Cornets, Baritones, Euphoniums and Tubas

$85 – Disassemble the horn, full chemical flush and brushing of all tubes, valves are cleaned separately and slides are descaled. All slides are greased, valves are oiled and all cap threads are oiled on reassembly

$50 – Replace all valve top felt, stem washers, springs, and up to 3 new spit valve pads

Stuck slides and any solder or resoldering work is priced upon inspection of the instrument

Flute & Piccolo

$140 | Student with Silver plated Head Joint, Body Tube, & Keys with Closed holes

$225 | Intermediate Step-Up with Sterling Silver Head Joint, Open Holes

$300 Professional with Sterling Silver or Solid Nickel Silver Head Joint, Body Tube, & Keys with Open Holes

Saxophone (Level of Instrument verified via the manufacturers website)

$140 Student and Step up models such as: Yamaha YAS-23, 200A-AD, CONN 20M, Jupiter 667, Mendini, Cecilio among others

$300 Professional models such as: Selmer Paris, Cannonball, P. Muriat, Yanigisawa, Yamaha 62, 82Z, 875 among others

Clarinet

$140 Student and Step up models with plastic body such as:  Yamaha 20,25, & 200 series, Buffet B11 & B12, Vito & Bundy among others

$300 Step up & Professional models with Wood body and solid Nickel or Sterling Silver key work such as: Buffet R13, Backun,  Normandy, Leblanc among others

Instrument is inspected for damage and missing or damaged components. Instrument is completely disassembled. Dents, bent keys, cracks and other potential body damage are assessed & quoted separately and are repaired as needed. The Instrument body is chemically cleaned with environmentally safe products. Pads are examined and replaced as needed (priced separately below). Corks, felts and other adjustment/silencing materials are inspected and replaced as needed. The instrument is reassembled; moving parts are oiled and or greased and regulated. All pads are adjusted as needed to seal effectively.

Missing or damaged components will be replaced with manufacturers’ original parts when possible and priced separately. When original parts are not available, we will discuss if a universal part is available and if it will work well. Otherwise, we will discuss options such as manually manufacturing the part if possible. All prices are discussed with the customer in advance.

$85 – Play Condition Service for all Brass & Woodwind Instruments

$75-Restring French Horn w/3 rotors/levers

$100-Restring Double French Horn w/4 Rotors/levers

Eliminate all pad leaks, adjust octaves when applicable, on flutes we will ensure all 3 Bb fingerings play equally, bottom notes for all woodwinds playability are restored.

Stuck brass slides, valve alignments/stuck valves and any solder work are at an additional charge and priced by quote.

New pads - $15 per pad - Flute, Clarinet, Piccolo, Oboe & $20 per pad - Saxophone

Full mechanical rebuilds are priced by quote after the instrument is visually inspected.

PLEASE NOTE:

Shipping costs to our shop and back to the customer are not included in the above prices. Local drop off from customers in and around Omaha, Nebraska is always recommended and is scheduled by appointment on our website.

All repair work via mail to us will be invoiced to the customer when the repair is complete. The price will include the repair costs & shipping cost of the instrument back to the customer.

All payments must be received before the instrument is resent back to the customer. Pictures of repair will be sent to the customer via email or Facebook messenger upon completion.
